Live To The Chew

July 26th 2012 I went to Live with Kelly to meet Olivia Munn and Joel Mchale.  This was a wild day because the weather was bad at first and then it started to clear up and got a lot better.

The first Star that I met was Olivia Munn.  There were a bunch of people trying to get her attention.  I stood back because I didn't want to be one of those people.  Right as she was finishing I asked for a picture and she said yes.  I was so happy.

The next person that I met was Skipper Bivins.  He is on the show HillBilly Handfishin'.  I was talking about what he was doing on the show because I saw that he brought catfish and had Kelly and Joel put their feet in the tank.  He is a very interesting guy, so I asked for a picture with him.

Waiting for Joel Mchale was a very long wait.  He didn't come out until about 40 minutes after the show was done.  By this time a lot of the people had left so there were very few of us there.  When he did come out he was talking with everyone.  He was making jokes and just having fun with us.  He's a really cool guy and I enjoyed meeting him for the second time.

Someone had told me that Mayim Bialik was at the Chew, and that show is taped down the block.  So of course I knew I had to go meet her.  I watched her on Blossom and now on The Big Bang Theory.  I was so excited to meet her.  I waited for her about 30 minutes or so.  I'm not very good at remembering how long I waited for.  Finally she came out and she was in a rush and luckily I still got an autograph and a picture with her.  Not only is she nice she looks GORGEOUS!

It was a great day even if it did start out raining.

One Pretty Little Liar

On July 24, 2012 I heard that Shay Mitchell was going to be in NYC to do a signing.  This event was going to be huge like expected to be 4,000 people big.  I wanted to get there early and by the time I got there about 30 people were ahead of me.  By the time it was 9am the line was down the block and who knows where else.  I couldn't see that far back.

On line I got to talking to people.  Everyone was very kind.  Later on while waiting on the line it got very hot so I decided to do a quick check out of American Eagle.  Since Shay Mitchell was doing a signing for their new campaign of Live Your Life for American Eagle.  I got a few things and when I came back out I had about another hour or so until it would start.

It was extremely hot out.  But when the event started everyone was excited.  Being in the sun for a very long time isn't fun.  When the event started everything started going smoothly.  When it was my turn to meet Shay Mitchell I asked her for a picture.  I told her about the time when I tried to meet her and she had to leave because a cameraman was asking her strange questions. She is very sweet and said lets do it.  I took a picture with her and it came out great.  Shay Mitchell you rock and thank you again for the picture.

That was basically the end of my morning of meeting Shay Mitchell and it was quite a hot adventure.

July 19, 2012 I went to Live with Kelly.  I really wanted to meet John Stamos.  I've tried to meet him before but I was never successful.  This time I was.  When I arrived to Live with Kelly I was passing a door and I noticed someone walking by.  It looked like a guard so I took another look and who did I see, but no other than John Stamos.  I was holding a doughnut and a bagel.  I didn't have enough hands so I could take a picture so I asked him when he was done if he would take pictures and he said yes.

I was so happy.  I ran to my friends who were already at Live with Kelly to tell them the news.  And let me tell you this he was true to his word.  When he came out everyone lined up and he went down the line.  I was in the front and I asked him for a picture.  Instead of one I  got two pictures.  I was so happy.

After the show ended I waited to meet the co host with Kelly Ripa.  Her co host for the day was Rob Thomas.  He was a very nice guy.  He was being rushed because he had to go somewhere after the show.

On July 16th 2012 Dark Knight Rising had its premiere night in NYC.  Let me tell you this was one wild night.  I got there around 2pm and was out until 2am.  At the premiere I was able to get some pictures, but not with any of the stars.  I got a few pictures of Morgan Freeman and Donald Trump.  There were so many people that I could barely see the carpet.

When everyone had walked the black carpet I waited a little bit longer to see if anyone of the stars would stay.  I guess they did watch the movie because I didn't see any of them leave.  So then I went to the after party.  When I got there they had the batman calling signal and a bunch of stairs with candles on them.  It looked extravagant.

I left before any of the stars got there because it was over crowded to the point I doubted that anyone would stop.  Instead I went to a hotel.  I won't say which one because I don't like giving the names of hotels out.  When I went to the hotel I didn't know who to expect.  I just had heard that there would be celebrities there.  After a while of waiting I saw this car show up.  I heard this voice and then I saw a shiny bald head through the window.  It was no one other than Howie Mandel.  I asked for a picture and he said do it quick like most stars say and I did.  I was really happy and he was  a cool guy.

The next person to show up was Tony Rock.  I thought that was pretty cool.  He was a down to earth guy and signing and taking pictures for anyone who asked.

The person who I met next I was in complete shock to meet. I see him all the time on commercials.  His voice is just one of the greatest voices ever to listen to.  At least I think so.  It was none other than Dennis Haysbert.

The last person that I got to take a picture with that night was Tom Hardy.  I thought it was cool to meet him.  He was really cool.

I did get to meet Christopher Noland, but he wasn't able to take pictures.  I did get his autograph which was cool!

After a long night I  had some great surprises and had a great night.

On July 14th 2012 Broadway Barks had its 14th annual adoption event.  This was a star studded event including the hosts Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore.

This event was AMAZING!!!!  Bernadette and Mary were great hosts.  They were funny and entertaining.  I enjoyed seeing them.  I did wish I could of met Mary Tyler Moore.

The pictures that I will be showing are probably not the order of the stars that actually came out on stage.  I was getting a ton of autographs while trying to take pictures.  The first star I will mention is Angela Lansbury.  She didn't sign or take pictures but I got a few of her on stage and standing around.

Next is Audra McDonald.  The Tony Award winner was phenomenal on stage.  The dogs were also quite adorable.  I got to take a picture with her.  She was very sweet.  The picture isn't the greatest but I tried.  And yes I know the quality of all the pictures aren't the greatest.  I don't have a fancy camera and I didn't plan on taking pictures of the event.

I then met Julie Halsten.  She was really down to earth and just a joy to meet.

Then I got to see Rita Moreno.  I didn't get to meet her but I did take a picture of her signing.

I then met the first person to ever play Annie, Andrea McArdle. She was really cool to meet.  We had a mini conversation about what she thought about Willow Smith making Annie into another movie.  I was curious about her thoughts on the subject because she is the original Annie.  She is quite supportive of the movie.

The final person is no other than legendary Angelica Huston.  I did not ever expect to meet her nor take a picture with her.  I thought it was amazing and a great last picture to take.

It was a long several hours of standing, but I loved every moment of it.  Gotta give it up to the dogs and the cats.

Breaking Bad

On July 11, 2012 Bryan Cranston was going to be appearing on the Letterman show.  I wanted to see if I could meet him and take a picture with him.  I arrived at around 1pm and waited until about 5pm something. I was shocked at how long he was inside for.  When he did come out it was wild in the barricades for fans.  People were pushing and putting pictures above everyones heads. It was very chaotic. I'm never a fan of chaotic situations because usually I get something stuck in my ear or pushed and let met tell you being pushed in an enclosed area is really uncomfortable.  Sadly I didn't get a picture with him, but I did get a few pictures of him signing.  You can see how wild it can get at these events.

He did a lot of signing while he was there. He didn't take any pictures, and if he did then I probably didn't see.  I wish I could say it was an unusual day, but I know honestly it was just a normal day at doing something I find fun.

Queen and Exes??

On July 10, 2012 I wanted to meet Queen Latifah, so I decided to go to the Letterman show to do so.  I arrived around 1pm and waited until 4pm to meet her.  When she arrived she was late and ran to everyone getting a high five.  She said she would be back to take pictures and she kept that promise. From the time that she was in the studio to the time she came out to sign the crowd grew, and I mean it grew a lot.  When she got to me I was excited.  I didn't know how much longer she would be there for so  I used the short card.  I said "take a picture with the short person".  And you know what she did.  And I accidentally took a one second video of it.  I have to be honest it isn't that bad.  I will put the link on the bottom of this post.

While at Letterman someone said that they had just met Kristen Johnston at Jimmy Fallon just minutes before they came here.  So what did I do.  I figured I might as well try and meet her.  I heard she stopped and was very kind and sweet.  So I went to Fallon and I waited about an hour.  She came out and there was a small crowd  of people.  It wasn't so bad and I was the last one to meet her.  I got an autograph and a picture.  Even though in the picture she wasn't looking at the camera she is still a really cool person to meet.  She's kind and even though being rushed she's awesome to meet.

It was a long but great day.

City Adventure

6/27/12 I went to Live with Kelly.  I've been getting some luck with meetings stars at this show.  This morning I came to see Andrew Garfield and Seth MacFarlane.  The first person to arrive was Andrew Garfield.  He was really sweet.  He went to every single person there who wanted a picture or autograph. I thought it was amazing.

Seth MacFarlane had went into the garage and he didn't come out to sign coming and leaving.  Still it doesn't mean that's the end of that story.

While waiting to see if I could still meet Seth MacFarlane I heard that Carrie Ann Inaba was arriving at the studio.  I wanted to meet her so I ran to where she was getting out of her car.  She was really nice.  She was talking with people and she was taking pictures and signing for fans.  She is a really cool person.

I waited to see when Seth MacFarlane would be leaving because I hoped that he would sign before he left.  Sadly he didn't but he did go to another taping for a show so I wasn't that upset.

I did wait a little bit longer because I wasn't
really sure what else to do.  While waiting Theresa Caputo came out.  She is from the show Long Island Medium.  She is a really nice and kind person.  She signed and took pictures.

Right after meeting her someone told me about Seth's interview at CBS.  Of course me and a friend got in the first cab that pulled over and headed over to CBS to find out that we had just missed him. It was a big bummer but we decided not to give up.  We walked over to one hotel that would give us a break.  We ran into some people who actually knew where Seth was staying.  Luckily it wasn't far from where we were.  When we got to his hotel there were a few other people already waiting.  It was about a 3 hour wait until I finally met him.  Seth MacFarlane signed my Stewie and I was so happy!  It turns out a lot of people in the city love Stewie.  I walked around the city carrying Stewie and people were really enjoying it.  Of course I kept talking about how I got his creator to sign his face.  It was a proud moment and it was the only time I will probably ever carry around a stuffed animal/person/evil baby.
