It's Time To Laugh

6/15/12 Adam Sandler was a guest on The Late Show With Jimmy Fallon.  I'm a fan of Adam Sandler and I wanted to meet him.  I planned on meeting him at another talk show but I wasn't able to go.  So I thought today might be my lucky day.

I went to Rockafeller Center and I waited probably for about 2 hours.  I wasn't sure when the Late Show was filming and when they were finished so I just took a guess.  I was in the city already so I knew I would have time to wait.  It was around 6:20pm when Adam Sandler came out.  He told everyone get in a line and we all did.  He signed for everyone and took pictures.  Having people get in a line was a really smart idea.  It went faster and everyone had the opportunity to meet him.  When I met him I told him "Thanks for making the greatest channukah song ever"!  He said thank you and he was very kind to everyone.  He was very nice even though he didn't stay long.  I was really glad I met him and he seemed very appreciative to his fans.  I think that's a great quality for a celebrity to show their fans.

Cote de Pablo and Me

6/10/12 was the day of the Tony Awards.  I went to the Tony Awards after party because I wanted to meet some stars.  The party started right after the award show, but as most people know no one really shows up early to a party.  Especially in NYC with traffic at every corner.  The first person that I got to meet was Cote de Pablo.  She was really sweet and she seemed a bit shy.  Still she was cool and came over and took pictures with fans.

After a while of waiting I got to meet Josh Groban.  He seems like a nice guy.  He said hi to everyone and overall was a kind guy.

Now pass the time about an hour or two and then Amanda Seyfried and James Marsden are leaving the party.  I called Amanda over and she came.  I was very excited.  Then James Marsden came over following Amanda Seyfried.  It was AMAZING.

Next I met Kathy Najimy.  I have seen her before, but I hadn't asked her for a picture until tonight.  She was really cool.  She took pictures with anyone who asked.

I then saw Jesse Tyler Ferguson leaving.  I didn't even know he was at the party.  I asked him for a picture and I actually got nervous.  I couldn't take the picture so he took my iPod and took the picture in 5 seconds.  It was really cool and I thank him for taking the picture.

The final person that I met was Nina Arianda. She was really cool.  She had her tony with her and I really wanted to hold it because it was a tony and it looked very shiny and fun to hold.  I was glad I got a picture with her and it was an end to a very long and great night.

6/7/12 I went to Live With Kelly to see who I could meet there.  I got there around 9:30am and it was about a 30 minute wait until I got to meet anyone.  It wasn't a bad wait because there were people there to talk with.  The first celebrity to come out was Jessica Chastain.  She looked amazing and she was very sweet.  She made sure everyone got a picture if they wanted or an autograph.  It was really cool to meet her.

The next person I was going to meet was a bit longer of a wait since she was filming the second episode of that day.  It was Marilu Henner.  She was filming the segment Grilling with the Stars.  I kept waving to her when she was on break and she waved backed.  Someone was telling me that Marilu Henner has an excellent memory. They said that she would remember me 10 years later.  I thought no way.  But it is true.  She has this amazing gift where she can remember everything.  I thought I would even test her just for random fun when I met her.  So I gave her the date of my birthday and she said "Well I know what I was doing. I'm not sure what you were doing.  I'm not historian".  I said " I know I just wanted to know what you would say.  It's the date I was born.  I don't even know what happened that day".  She said "Well you were born a wednesday".  I said "No way. My parents lied to me then.  They said Thursday". We were all laughing it was all in good fun. I enjoyed meeting her and if I do see her again I most likely will ask more questions such as when have I met you?

Minutes later Andy Samberg came out.  He was a really nice guy.  There weren't that many of us there so he took pictures with as many as he could before he had to leave.

Later that night I had planned on going to the movie premiere of Madagascar 3.  I just wanted to meet anyone that I could.  I like movie premieres because you never know who might show up.

In the beginning it was hard to see anyone who was coming because of all the cars going by, and there were just a lot of people there. I tried moving to different spots to get a better view, but when your short well if your not in front anywhere else you stand you really don't get to see anyone.  I finally went to the entrance of the theatre.  I knew I would have to wait until the movie started to see what stars might come out during the showing.  After waiting for a while I got lucky.  I got to meet Will and Willow Smith.  They were really cool and kind.  They stopped and took pictures with anyone who asked. It was awesome to see them.  I really did enjoy meeting them.

Even though they were the only two I met at the premiere it was still amazing.  I had a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next movie premiere.

It's Raining Men

5/31/12 I had heard that Chris Hemsworth was going to be on Live With Kelly.  I figured I would go try and meet him.  I went there a little bit later than I normally have because I knew they were filming a bit later that morning.  So I get there and I see that there is a set setup outside and a lot of fans outside.  At first I wasn't sure where to go because I wasn't sure if they were filming yet or what, but turns out I was allowed to go by because they were still setting up.

I waited for a while before the stars started to arrive.  Some of the stars I saw I was shocked to see.  Turns out Ben Stiller and Jerry O'Connell were filming a segment for the show because Ben Stiller couldn't make it the day he was scheduled for the show.  Jerry O'Connell was there because he was co hosting that day.  They both rushed in because they had to get ready for the show.

The next person to come was Joey Lawrence.  I had already met him so I didn't really try to get a picture with him.  At first he didn't take pictures because he was too busy getting ready for his segment because he had to learn what was going on and all of that stuff.  But when he had some free time he took pictures and signed autographs.  He was a very sweet guy and down to earth.

Next Chris Hemsoworth came and everybody went nuts.  Everybody was mobbing him.  I don't like to be that person who will push someone out of the way for a picture.  I won't lie I have done it but its usually by accident and there is a different reason for every situation.  But I eventually did get a picture with him.  He's very tall and well I'm not so I couldn't get his whole face in the picture.  I tried my best.  I must say for someone being mobbed he was a nice guy.  He was totally okay with it.

After that Jerry O'Connell was done finishing taping the segment and he came out like it was nothing.  Of course he got mobbed. He was very kind to anyone who asked for a picture.  I wanted to get a picture with him so I did.  At first I thought I took the picture and he was like I don't think you took it.  Let's do it again.  He was right I messed up. So we took it again and he was awesome.

So far my morning was going great.  I was meeting a lot of hot guys.  I don't think it could get any better.  Well it did because Joey Lawrence was filming his segment outside and he is HOT!!!!  Right before he was filming I yelled out "Take your shirt off"!!!  I was just having some fun.  And other people were yelling it out.  It was just a lot of fun to watch this segment being filmed.  After they finished and Joey Lawrence was leaving I yelled out we want you to take your shirt off.  He turned back and said I know you do.  I just started to laugh.  He was very cool about it.

As the show was letting out I wanted to see if I could meet Kelly Ripa.  The first person to come out was Mike Greenberg.  He was a nice guy.  I got a picture with him and he was just down to earth with everyone.  He didn't reject anyone.

I tried to meet Kelly Ripa but I think she was running late because she was being rushed.  I wasn't to upset because I figured I would try again to meet her.

I didn't want to go home just yet because I LOVE the city.  And

 it was a gorgeous day.  I was talking with someone at Live With Kelly and they said that some of the Jonas Brothers were playing baseball in Central Park now.  I'm not a Jonas Brothers fan but I knew my sister liked them.  So I thought why not.  I got there near the end of the game.  The Jonas Brother's team won.  I forgot what the team was called.  It was Kevin and Nick Jonas who were playing.  Nick is a great baseball player.  A lot of girls showed up to see this game.  When they were leaving they would only sign.  So I just tried to get a picture of just them.  It was very sunny out and I tried my best. 


This was a perfect day.

Live With Melissa And Martin

5/30/12 I went to the show Live With Kelly to meet Melissa Joan Hart.  I'm a big fan and I've been wanting to meet her for a while, but have never gotten the opportunity until today.  I went with my sister Brooke, and we left the house early.  I think we got to Live With Kelly at around 8am.

I have never been to this show before so I didn't know what to expect.  I was hoping to get their earlier but it didn't really matter because not many people were there.  Which is the perfect thing because the less people there are the more chances you have to meet the celebrities.  We had to wait for a few hours until the show ended taping.  It wasn't a bad wait.  Melissa Joan Hart was the first to come out.  Everyone ran towards her and she was so sweet.  I couldn't believe that I got to meet her.  I was actually shocked that I got to meet her because I never thought I would.  It was one of those rare moments where my mind went completely blank and I didn't know what to say.

While the show was taping I got to see inside the lobby and there was a television that was playing the show that they were taping.  I saw that Martin Short was co hosting and I thought it would be cool to meet him.  So we waited for him to come out.  He came out minutes after Melissa Joan Hart.  He was really nice and took pictures with as many people as he could.  He had to go to another interview so he couldn't stay long.

I didn't wait for Kelly Ripa because she had to film another segment which had Michelle Obama in it.  There was a ton of security and I didn't know how long it would be and I just didn't feel like waiting.  I was already exhausted because I had to get up early and I don't like getting up early.  But I am glad I woke up early for today.

5/19/12-5/20/12 was an interesting day.  I had been planning on trying to meet the cast of iCarly.  I was sort of successful.  I got to see all of the cast members in person but I didn't get to take pictures with them. The first time I saw them they got mobbed.  It was insane.  So I decided to go back to where they were staying  at night to see if I could catch them coming and going from their hotel.  I waited for hours and didn't get to see anyone until around 9pm something.  It was Jennette McCurdy walking back to the hotel.  She was very sweet and stopped and was taking pictures with everyone.  There weren't that many people which was even better.  I got to take a picture and its an awesome picture.

I waited a few more hours and out of the blue there was someone walking right towards us and I went "oh my god".  The people who I were with didn't know if I saw a dog or someone famous.  I love dogs and every time I saw one I went something like "oh my god".  We fixed the confusion when someone told me to say k-9 for dog, so that way they would know if I saw a person or a dog.  It really did work.  Well back to the person.  It was Kurtwood Smith.  He was with his lovely wife and they were just walking by.  He is such a cool guy.  So of course I would say something stupid.  For those who don't know he was in the show That 70's Show and one of his well known lines was "I'm going to put my foot up your ass".  It went something like that.  So I said out of no where "I'm going to put my foot up your ass".  Then I went oh my god I'm so sorry. By the way I kept making the situation worse by repeating the line.  At first he didn't know what the hell I was saying.  He was caught off guard by all of us there.  Then he finally heard what I said and he laughed.  He even shook my hand and read my shirt.  I got a great picture with him and a great story with it.

Now it was around midnight or so.  I'm really bad at knowing what time it is.  Well this was also the night of the season finale of Saturday Night Live.  I didn't know that.  The people I was with we went to go to see who we could meet.  We were still trying to meet the iCarly cast and they also were at SNL.  Ironically every place we were we kept missing them.  It just really sucked that we kept missing them by minutes.  We then went back to the hotel to see if we could catch them going in.  Sadly we didn't.  We stayed there for about an hour or so.  And luckily we did get to meet someone.  Someone saw Kunal Nayyar walking in and called him.  He was kind enough to stop and take pictures.  He looked exhausted and I really do appreciate that he stopped.  Of course I said something stupid and random.  In the show The Big Bang Theory his character gets drunk when around women.  So I said "it must be fun to get drunk at your job".  I know he doesn't really drink alcohol while working but I was trying to make a joke.  Obviously I'm not funny.  He didn't answer so I'm going to pretend he didn't hear that.  He was really cool.  As he was walking in to the hotel he told us all to get some sleep.  It might have been around 3am.

After that we all went back to the SNL party and I was just exhausted.  I was about to fall asleep and since I had to get back home I knew it was time for bed.  I left around 3:40am.  Even though I didn't get pictures with all of the iCarly cast, I'm glad I got to meet the people I met.

5/17/12 Tia Mowry was having a book signing for her book Oh, Baby at the NBC store.  I have already met Tia Mowry, but my sister hadn't.  I also wanted to go to see if Tia remembered me.  Brooke and I got to the store around 11am something and the line wasn't that bad.  We weren't first in line but we still had a pretty good spot.  The signing was at 1pm and the closer it got to 1pm the line started to grow.  There were so many people that they had to move the line outside of the store.  The signing didn't start on time, but nothing in the city really ever starts on time.

When Tia Mowry was walking towards the back drop to get her picture taken by some paparazzi she was holding her beautiful son Cree.  I asked her as she walked by if she remembered me.  Turns out she did.  I said I met her at the Red Tails premiere and then she remembered me.  She was like "Oh yea in January.  Remember when you thought my cousin was my husband".  Yes it was true.  I thought her cousin was her husband not knowing that was her cousin instead of her husband.  He was adorable but at first wouldn't smile.  Then someone gave them a smurfette doll and he started to cheer up.

When it was my turn in line to get my book signed I was happy.  I was just rambling on about random stuff.  I was just having fun.  Since I'm a twin I was talking to her about twin stuff.  I was just being random to have fun.  I really did enjoy meeting her.  I thought it was cool that she even remembered me.  She was very kind and sweet.  I'm glad I got to meet her a second time.

Brooke and I were bored so we figured we might check out a place where some celebrities might be.  We didn't know who we would see, but it was time to waste because we had to be some where in the city for an event.  We waited for a few hours in total. It wasn't that bad of a wait.  My sister got to meet Pauley Perrette.  We also got to meet someone from The Vampire Diaries.  Her name is Kat Graham.  She was very kind.  She was taking pictures with everyone who asked.
